Well it turns out that Pauline is due July 22nd (our anniversary) instead of the beginning of June. I have seen their info and both look great!!!! Pauline is 22 and the birth father is 26. The only thing is that since she is due later than expected that means more expenses. We are going to have to come up with another $8000 for the agency expenses and this doesn't count travel expenses. Please pray that we hear from these possible grants soon!!!! I don't mind putting expenses on a credit card if we know there is money coming. We are soo excited about this. It still doesn't seem real and probably won't until we see the ultrasound. I am trying to pick up the house before I begin cooking supper. I haven't been worth 2 cents since yesterday afternoon. Here we go on the whirlwind of adoption!!!

We have news!!!

We have been picked!!!! We got "the call" this afternoon. They are a married couple that are just trying to make ends meet. The baby is due the first week of June. My birthday is that same week which makes it extra special. We are so excited and can't believe that we have finally been picked. They live in Lubbock, Texas so that is where we will go for the visit trip and labor/delivery trip. I can't believe that Kaleb will have a baby brother or sister the first week of June. I will post more info as we find it out!!!! God is Good!!!!

I decided to copy Aiden's blog and do some nice warm summer pix for FFF. Kaleb has a bad cold and hasn't been feeling well. Luckily Tim has a no game weekend so we will get to stay home all warm and cozy. Have a great weekend!!!

You Act Like You Are 20 Years Old

You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.
You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.
The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

I have posted this before, but I love it. This was taken at one of our families of children from Guatemala get togethers. We were in the bounce house and Kaleb loved it. Robyn and Gabriella were also there. Have a great weekend!! We are off to watch the Colonels play. Go EKU!!!

FFF a day late

Kaleb loves his daddy so much that he wanted to try on his clothes. He loves to walk around in his shoes as well!!!
Tim is out of town so we decided to go and visit with the family. They just live an hour away, but life happens and we don't go as often as we should. Needless to say we are home and Kaleb is wore out. He is snoozing hard at the moment. I hope that you all have had a great week. I just heard that the Cats are winning. Thank goodness. I think that everyone is KY is about to quit watching them. EKU plays tonight so we hope that they will bring home a win. Have an awesome weekend!!! Go Cats and Colonels!!!!

What Your Latte Says About You

You are easygoing and pretty simple to please. You don't put up a fuss... ever.

You can be quite silly at times, but you know when to buckle down and be serious.

Intense and energetic, you aren't completely happy unless you are bouncing off the walls.

You're addicted to caffeine. There's no denying it.

You are responsible, mature, and truly an adult. You're occasionally playful, but you find it hard to be carefree.

You are expressive and friendly, but you are never pushy.

This is a picture of all the kids on my side of the family. Kaleb is the youngest as you can tell and he is #8. I am hoping to make it to #10. I am the youngest so the numbers are all up to me!!
This is my FFF. One of our friends gave Kaleb a tent with a tunnel. This is Kaleb in the tunnel. He loved it until it feel down.
I hope that the new year has started off well for everyone!!! We are doing well. Hopefully we will have some good news to share soon!!! Kaleb is going through a major clumsy spell. He has fell I don't know how many times and today he decided to lean off the couch to grab the coffee table and ended up with a bloody nose. We are worried that he is going to have a concussion soon. Our house is slowly getting back in order. The tree just got taken down, but we still need to put everything somewhere and the lights are on outside. Now we just need to bigger house for all the stuff, Kaleb's stuff that is. Oh well, he is having a blast with all of his Christmas goodies. Have a great Friday!!!
