Sorry for being MIA

We went and visited my cousin in IL over the weekend and didn't get back until Monday night. I have been so tired, but we had a great time!!! Kaleb did awesome in the car as well the whole trip.

I got a call from the agency yesterday that was a bit unsettling (sp?). Nikki says that there are some negatives with Pauline and Miguel. She has tried several times to get in touch with her but apparently when she calls Pauline is at work. We just want to make sure that they are preparing themselves emotionally for this adoption. Pauline said in the hospital plan that she wants the baby in room with her and the daddy. Things like this are a bit unsettling. We can always back out, but we already have so much money tied in this adoption. Just please keep us in your prayers as well as Nikki. She has been doing this for a long time so I hope that she can figure things out for us. Kamden is due 3 months from today!!! We just want to do what God has planned for us! I hope to hear from the agency tomorrow or so as Nikki was going to call Pauline to talk about some things. I tried to call Pauline today but there was no answer. She probably was at work. Well needless to say keep us in your prayers. Adoption is such an amazing thing, but it is also the scariest.

Update on Pauline

I spoke to Pauline this afternoon and the Dr./nurse never did call her back. She ended going to the pharmacy and told the pharmicist her symptoms. He told her what to get and she is feeling much better. Apparently she has a urinary tract infection and it has been very painful. She has been drinking lots of fluids and getting plenty of rest which has been a huge help. We talked for ~1/2 hour and everything else sounds great. Pauline has already asked off work for when we come to visit. She has big plans for our trip and can't wait for us to get there. They don't get out much so we are going to be the highlight of the month. Hopefully we will be as much fun as they perceive us to be!!! Her next appt. is May 6th. I can't wait to hear how little Kamden is coming along. 4 months and 8 days before we meet Kamden!!! We can't wait!!!

I spoke to Pauline on Wednesday and everything is going well. She has had some lower abdominal/back pain and plans to call the OB if it doesn't go away. I will call her today to see if she is feeling better. I have been really stressed lately but after talking to her I feel so much better. She has a much better grasp on adoption than Miguel does. He is a man of few words and doesn't really know what to say. It will be nice once we meet. Pauline wants us to do lots of fun things!!!! It should be a nice trip. I will miss Kaleb terribly but it will be nice to be alone with my hubby!! I will post an update on Pauline if things have changed. Have a great weekend!!!!

It has been beautiful here so we have been outside quite a bit lately.
Kaleb loves to pick dandelions. He thinks that they smell soo good and are soo pretty.
Miss Annalise sent Kaleb this cool monkey towel and some monkey wash cloths. Kamden also got some goodies. Thanks Dori and Annalise!!! We can't wait to find out if baby A is a boy!!!!! Pauline went to the Dr. Wednesday afternoon but there is no new news to report. She got the job at Big Lots which takes up a lot of her time and gives them some extra money. We are looking forward to our visit trip next month. Please pray that all goes well!!! Have a great weekend everyone!!!
