I take pix of Kaleb all the time. He says cheese as soon as he hears me turn the camera on. This was taken last winter, and Kaleb is obviosly not enjoying the cold weather.

Help!!!
Does anyone know how I get these thermometers off? I thought that it was a good idea and now I don't like it.
Yard Sale #3
We are going to have another big yard sale in October. I have asked people at church and hope to ask as many people as possible if they have anything they are willing to donate. If any of you bloggers have items please let me know!!! We received a letter back from one of our grants that they have sent the questionnaires to our references. Hopefully they will get them in the mail quickly. I am keeping my fingers crossed and that we get it.
Kaleb has been extra spunky lately. Wed. night we went to church and pretty much were there just 20 minutes. He threw himself in the floor for no apparent reason and had a tantrum. He was fine 1 minute and the next he was having a major breakdown. It is so hard when there are other people around. Needless to say I couldn't help him calm down so we said goodbye and went home. He has also been getting up in the middle of the night screaming. He has been working on his last 4 molars so that might have something to do with all of this. Who knows. All I know is that it wears me out. But it is still all worth it!!!
On the adoption front the 10 copies of our profile are scheduled to get to the agency today. We are still waiting on the last 2 documents, but I am TRYING to be patient. We are so close to being birth parent ready!!! It is amazing how quickly this has gone. It is my prayer and continued prayer that the b/m knows exactly what she is doing and that we have no hurdles with this. I know in my heart that we are going to have a little girl and that she has been conceived. The Lord has brought us to this point and He will see us through!!!! Have a great day!!!!
One more thing. Tim is really enjoying his new job. He gets home later at night but at least he is doing what he went to school 7 years to do. If he is happy then we are all happy!!!

A success
We ended up with close to $800 in pampered chef sales and $56 total for the raffle. The raffle was given to us so we ended up with right at $215 for our fundraiser. We are excited as we keep plugging along to get the funds for our adoption. Tim starts EKU Wednesday so by the second week of September we should have all of our documents done and on their way to Texas. It is so crazy that we are so close to being ready for birth parents. I have a deep feeling that our child has been conceived, and it is so crazy that we will meet them in a short while. The adoption roller coaster is one full of emotions. I pray that this one remains smooth with little or no bumps!!!
Today we helped Nanna with a yard sale. I had some stuff donated from church to sale and my MIL is giving us the money that she makes. So far at the end of today we are getting $100. She is having it tomorrow as well so hopefully we will get $100 more from that.
The other day I was an emotional wreck because of trying to fund this adoption. Well when I finally realized that I can't do anything on my own things get so much better. Philippians 4:13 is such an amazing verse to live by: "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." We can't do anything on our own so no matter what we are struggling with give it to the Lord and He will see you through!!! Have a great and safe Labor Day!!!

Pampered Chef Fundraiser
We are nearing the end of our pampered chef fundraiser. If any of you need or want anything this is the time to do it. We get 20% of the sales. Go to www.pamperedchef.biz/cynthiafarley Scroll down and click on order items, type in Kelli Pike, enter and then click on Pike Family Adoption. Then you are good to go with the shopping. We are almost done with all the paperwork so that means we are getting ready to make a $13,000 payment and well we don't have that much. We are putting this in God's hands as He can do anything!!! Thanks to anyone who orders and it is our prayer that you are blessed through this. Mucho Gracias!!!

The birthday boys: Brayden and Kaleb
Brayden's birthday party was yesterday so the boys got to see alot of each other. They had alot of fun splashing in the pool together. I think that Kaleb was all partied out because he took a 3 hour nap when we got home!!! As you can see from the group photo Kaleb is done with having pictures taken.
